Roy Mendenhall led a Disaster Relief Team to Atlanta, Georgia from Sunday, February 7 to Saturday, February 13. Team members included several of our Brookstown 'handy-people' along with other experienced hands from nearby congregations.  The Team traveled to do repairs on houses following the flooding around Atlanta last fall.

Roy & Crew is the first Volunteer in Missions team sent from Brookstown Church in 2010.  Our Bishop has challenged all United Methodist congregations to get out beyond our walls and serve our neighbors through such mission efforts.
